The last set of my favorite photos from the Vietnam backpacking trip I recently had:
 |
The Lost Boys in a boy band pose!
Quite a challenge shooting a group shot me in it on film! |
 |
| Met people from all over the world! |
 |
| The market is the best place to eat like the locals and get the authentic experience. |
 |
Taking the train all over Vietnam was a cool experience.
This photo reminds me of the Hogwarts Express, and is probably my favorite photo of the trip. |
 |
| Brian enjoying the sunset on the train. |
 |
| Ken playing around with video. |
 |
| Welcome to Hanoi. |
I think that's it! Vietnam was amazing. Just like pretty much everything else in life, it's best experienced by spending TIME and just exploring the place like a 6 year old. Don't try to plan too much and leave room for spontaneity (lots of it).
We literally got lost a number of times on the trip, once on an island along Central Vietnam on our bikes wandering around the rice fields. Just be prepared, have good company with you and keep an open mind, and I promise you that getting lost just might be the best thing you've done in ages :)

Wow.. I love the train shot!! I really should try film again!
Hmmm.. Now it makes sense, I need some travel companions. I usually travel alone and getting lost is..... you know what I mean.. hahahah..
Great set dude.. I wanna see Vietnam soon!
Thanks Jay! Try film out again, it's a great experience.
As is Vietnam! Spend loads of time there to get the real experience, especially in the smaller towns!
